Are you a content editors or developer getting frustrated by configuring and maintaining content in multiple places?

Sounds like you're working for your Drupal site. Simplify, man.

Learn ways to improve content editing workflows by configuring Layout paragraphs along with SDC to provide a content editing experience that encourages content managing to the entity editing form.

While individualized layouts help provide content editors with tools to differentiate between different layouts, it can become quite confusing and cumbersome to maintain 2 edit pages for the same node.  With Drupal Canvas on the horizon, Layout Paragraphs provide a reliable way to define a portion of a page layout to handle various complexities by placing content in the correct section/column with the correct component.

Layout Paragraphs can provide sections and columns of layouts to exist in one paragraph field. It has a frequently requested built-in drag and drop feature, that is in the process of being extended with Drupal Canvas.

Single Directory Components provide instructions for repeatable groups of fields or slots to arrange node and paragraph fields in components such as cards, accordions and buttons.

We will look at these two Drupal modules and explore ways that we can improve workflows and editing time to produce Drupal websites that have an easy to use interface for content editors. By using Drupal's best practices, we can avoid turning on individualized layouts for a content type  in Layout Builder that will not only provide an easier time onboarding and teaching editors but will also have an easier time in future migrations and enhancements.
